Homely restaurant that serves up heartwarming middle eastern food amidst a chilly drive up to the great ocean region. Came across this unplanned and so glad we went in. What a lovely surprise. There were only 2-3 dishes available after 7pm so we didn't have many choices, but both the kofta salad and okra stew with rice were absolutely delicious. Would have loved to try the lamb shank and the delectable desserts. Will definitely visit again when we're in the area.

The food was very tasty, a bite isn’t just a bite it’s a burst of middle eastern flavour in your mouth. Reminds you of grandmas cooking. May not be normal but unique and very nice coffee. Heavily recommend.

My husband and I regularly travel down the great ocean road from Melbourne and this was the best meal we have ever had on our journeys! Even better than what we have on offer in Melbourne! Food is fresh and homely, delicious and hearty. We enjoyed it so much we went back the following day. I’m a vegetarian and the options were fantastic. My partner eats meat and also loved his choices. Will definitely be coming back again and trying even more of the menu.

Great food and wonderful atmosphere! The falafel were freshly made and delicious, and the Turkish coffee is made with a home blend including cardamom. The drinks were served with a complementary sweet. A cosy place to study and relax. Will definitely come back again!

Delicious food. It took a bit longer to arrive as we were a half hour before lunchtime and the lunch menu wasn't ready yet. Our options were supposed to have tabbouleh but didn't, maybe because it wasn't ready yet? We had two types of pickled cabbage instead. Pita breads were outstanding.

The food was outstanding - a chicken soup and a lentil soup. Perfect flavours. A cold day in Victoria made their decision to leave the front door open was unusual - too chilly to really enjoy the venue. There was also only one staff member who was very busy, we saw two couples leave before ordering because they hadn't been acknowledged. Potentially the menu, which looks great, has too many complex to make dishes. The food is worth the wait, but don't be in a hurry.
